FAQ

Straight answers.

Everything you need to know about privacy, AI honesty, and how patients and doctors use Aarogya AI.

Is Aarogya AI a replacement for a doctor?

No. Aarogya AI explains and organises health information in plain language. It never diagnoses, prescribes, or replaces professional medical advice. Important decisions belong with a qualified clinician.

Is my health data private?

Your vault is private by default. Sharing is explicit — you look up a clinician by Aarogya ID, send a share or approve a request, and can revoke access. We do not sell your health data.

What can I upload?

Prescriptions (including handwritten photos), lab reports, and related PDFs or images. Vision-assisted reading helps when OCR alone is weak.

Do patients and doctors use the same product?

Yes. One sign-in flow, two roles. Patients own the vault; doctors receive shares in an inbox and can request access when needed.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes — a Flutter app for patients and doctors mirrors the web vault, insights, and care loop. Store listings are on the Download page (links go live as releases publish).

Does AI always run on every document?

Insights run after upload. Views reuse stored results when available so opening a report does not needlessly re-call the model.
